At Burkes Plumbing & Backflow Services LLC, we strive to provide reliable, honest plumbing service to our community. The following policies help ensure a smooth experience for both our customers and our technicians.



Scheduling Service

Service appointments may be scheduled by phone, online request, or other approved methods.


Appointment windows are provided whenever possible. While we make every effort to arrive within the scheduled time, delays may occasionally occur due to traffic, emergencies, or extended repair times at previous jobs.


If delays occur, we will do our best to notify you.



Service Call / Diagnostic Fee

A service call or diagnostic fee may apply for on-site evaluation of plumbing issues.


This fee covers:

  • Technician travel

  • Time spent diagnosing the problem

  • Professional recommendations for repair


Diagnostic fees are separate from repair costs and are non-refundable.



Estimates and Repairs

Whenever possible, our technician will provide an estimate before performing repairs.


However, plumbing systems sometimes contain hidden issues that cannot be discovered until work begins. If additional repairs become necessary, we will communicate the situation and request approval before proceeding.



Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing clear access to the plumbing work area

  • Securing pets during service visits

  • Informing technicians of any known plumbing concerns or hazards


Unsafe work conditions may require postponement of service.



Customer-Supplied Fixtures

Customers may choose to provide their own fixtures or materials for installation.


However, Burkes Plumbing & Backflow Services LLC cannot guarantee or warranty customer-provided products, and labor associated with installing these items is not covered under warranty.



Water Shutoff and Older Plumbing Systems

Some plumbing systems contain older valves, pipes, or fittings that may fail when operated due to age or corrosion.


While our technicians take reasonable care, Burkes Plumbing & Backflow Services LLC is not responsible for failure of existing components caused by normal service procedures.



Payment

Payment is typically due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made in advance.


We accept approved forms of payment including cash, check, and electronic payment methods.

Respect for Your Property

Our technicians work carefully to minimize disruption to your home or property. However, some plumbing repairs require access through walls, floors, or other areas.


Cosmetic repairs such as drywall, paint, or flooring restoration are not included unless specifically agreed upon in writing.
